NASA’s Curiosity Mars Rover could get its own Lego set
Are you lacking NASA's billion dollar budget? Don't worry, you could be creating your own tribute to Curiosity in the not-too-distant-future
The Mars Curiosity Rover has enthralled the minds of geeks young and old, and you could soon have the chance to replicate NASA’s four-wheeled Martian explorer with Lego.
Although not as complicated as the thousand-brick-strong fully operational Curiosity Rover built by Lego NXT builders, we’re still hoping that Lego designer Stephen Pakbaz’s Curiosity set gets the required 10,000 votes on Lego’s Cuusoo site so that it can follow in the footsteps of the likes of the now-official Lego Minecraft and Back to the Future sets.
While you’re at it, why not check out the Lego Street Fighter II, R2-D2 and Lord of the Rings sets as well as the gigantic Lego forest, working jet engine and Death Star. Unless you’re allergic to Lego of course, in which case you would probably die a painful multicoloured brick-induced death.
Did we mention our five Lego sets we wish they would make? No? Well, here’s the link for that too.
