Continuing in its mission to rule your DVD collection, Onkyo’s released this mini home cinema box to handle all your movie playing and music listening needs.It plays just about everything, including CDs, DVDs and, er, all those Super Audio CD and DVD-Audio discs you’ve got knocking around. More conventionally it’ll also spin WMA and MP3 files burnt to CD and hook up to your iPod thanks to Onkyo’s optional dock.Its 32-bit DSP engine will take on stereo and multi channel sounds with ease, spitting them out to your stereo or 2.1 speaker set up. If 5.1 surround’s more your bag then the 5.1-channel preamplifier outputs (preouts to their friends) will enable you to add extra amplifiers for the full surround sound experience.Last and probably least there’s an AM/FM radio with 30 presets. Thought that’d get you excited.It’s out next week but don’t forget to add speakers to your shopping list.
