Now TV brings Sky’s movies, entertainment and sports powers to Apple TV

Apple’s little black box just got some new content friends to play with

Sky has announced that its Now TV content will be gracing Apple TV boxes from today, serving up a variety of live and on demand packages including movies, TV shows and sports.

First up is the £10 a month Sky Movies Month Pass, which offers over 800 movies including fairly recent releases like Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues and Philomena.

There’s also a Sky Sports Day Pass for times when you desperately need to catch a match, at the expense of £6.99 for 24 hours of access. Content includes the Premier League, golfing action from the Ryder Cup, Champions League football and F1 racing.

Finally, there’s the £5 a month Entertainment Month Pass which includes heavy hitters like Sky Atlantic’s Boardwalk Empire, along with every season of life-sucking shows like Lost, The West Wing, Mad Men and Hannibal.

Walking Dead fans can also catch up on seasons 1-3 now, ahead of season four’s arrival on 1 October, setting them up nicely for season five’s debut on Fox on 13 October.

All three services can be accessed right now and will be billed straight to your iTunes account, with immediate activation.
