Nike+ Fuelband Ice shows its working

Limited edition translucent fitness wristband shows off its tech innards

Nike has taken the wraps off the inner working of its Nike+ sports wristbands with the Nike+ Fuelband Ice, seen on Serena Williams’ wrist at Wimbledon.

Packing the same accelerometer hardware as the existing Nike+ Fuelband, the limited edition Fuelband Ice, priced $US150, comes wrapped in a translucent skin showing off the device’s interals.

The Nike+ Fuelband Ice will be on sale from July 27 at NikeTown London, Nike+ FuelStation at Boxpark and Selfridges’ House of Innovation. You’ll also be able to order it online at NikeStore.com from August 12.
