Google Nexus 6 set to land with a cavernous 128GB of storage
Nexus owners might never have to worry about storage ever again
Prepare yourself for what’s in store(age). Recent reports from Android Police suggest that Google’s new Nexus 6P model might be coming with a whopping 128GB of space for all your media-hoarding smartphone needs.
The news comes in the midst of a swathe of leaks and rumours surrounding the Huawei-made handset, with others being that the 6P will have a Quad HD display over it’s expanded 5.7inch screen size, along with a 21MP camera.
AP also reports that it’s likely that 32GB and 64GB versions will also be available, but the boost in space will be pushing the phone to Samsung Galaxy S6-levels of storage flexibility – hopefully minus the wallet-bashing price tag.
Less likely will be the addition of a microSD card expanding storage up to a massive 256GB, but hey, crazier things have happened.
Other specs slated for the new Nexus 6 include a Snapdragon 808 chip, USB Type C connector and at least 3GB of RAM to keep everything running smoothly.
Google will reportedly be announcing the Nexus 6P, and smaller model 5X, on September 29th, so stay tuned.
