Google Maps brings Street View back to iOS 6

Wow that’s a quick spot of work from Google, adding Street View in just a few days after promising it

Apple has been taking fire for the failings of iOS 6 Maps, and while it was busy apologising, the jilted Google was making promises to add Street View to its browser-accessible maps. After promising the update in a couple of weeks’ time, it’s taken Google mere days to deliver Street View goodness to the web version of Google Maps.

Google Maps Street View will now work in Chrome and Safari, with the familiar person icon now appearing in the bottom right corner of your map. Let’s hope the Apple Store employees fixing iOS 6 Maps errors can work just as fast.
