Bose shows off Lifestyle 135 and CineMate 1 SR soundbar systems
Spare wad of cash? Upgrade your home entertainment sound system courtesy of Bose
Bose is pretty well known for its high-quality and well justified high-priced audio. And rightly so. The latest pieces of kit to join Bose’s high-end product list – and a first for Bose – are a couple of home entertainment soundbar systems. The Lifestyle 135 and CineMate 1 SR both specialise in minimalism for folks with affluent bank accounts.
The Lifestyle 135 is a single speaker system, complete with a soundbar that can be laid flat or mounted on a wall for a slick audio set up. A control console with four HDMI outputs, an AM/FM tuner and an iPod/iPhone dock are on-hand, while a universal remote makes sure you’ll rarely need to lift your lazy backside off that sofa.
The CineMate 1 SR consists of only the soundbar – the same soundbar you get with the 135 – but throws up a one-cable setup. Bose’s FlexMount automatic placement tech senses whether it’s placed horizontally or vertically and adjusts accordingly.
Both systems boast Bose’s sound radiator technology, originally used in its VideoWave entertainment system. It’s designed to provide the best sound possible for your room by evaluating the room’s size and shape along with any objects in the room. Bose’s proprietary TrueSpace technology, which gets rid of the need for a multiple speaker set-up, delivers simulated, wide surround-like sound performance using minimal equipment.
Out now, the Lifestyle 135 esteem and CineMate 1 SR System are available for £2,400 and £1,300, respectively.
