Bose Companion 20 speakers unveiled

Even the best laptop speakers sound like they're trapped in a tin tunnel. Upgrade to a decent pair

The Bose Companion 20 Multimedia Speaker System has been released on the world with one goal – to embarrass laptop speakers the world over. The duo of speakers, although only slight in form, offer full natural sound using Bose TrueSpace technology designed, we’re told, specifically for computer listening. The little towers of power improve sound effects in games, music on playlists and movie audio – all with a handy volume control. The control doubles as a dual minijack input so you can let your mates plug in their iPods when that Level 42 slap-bass solo on repeat is too much – yes they even do bass well without a subwoofer. The Bose Companion 20s are available now from £200.
