Apple iCloud update has new features in the works

The Cupertino tech giant adds a dash of social flair to its next iteration of iCloud, in addition to a few other handy features

We already expect Apple to reveal iCloud backup support for Notes and Reminders at WWDC in June and now it looks like there’ll be a few more additions to iCloud’s new features list.

Citing people ‘familiar with the matter’, the Wall Street Journal reports that Apple’s iCloud service will become more sociable by allowing users to comment on photos. Media syncing will also reportedly include video upload support, enabling footage captured on your iPhone or iPad to join your existing photos in Apple’s iCloud servers.

iOS 6 is already expected to debut at WWDC alongside the new iCloud update, though we’re still keeping our fingers firmly crossed for a new iPhone 5 launch. Bring on June 11th, where all will be officially revealed.
