New Google Nexus 7 pictures and video in the wild
More snapshots of Google's new Nexus 7 have surfaced, and they look delicious
The Internet has done it again. AndroidCentral has secured a few leaked images of an updated Google Nexus 7 tablet. Our first impressions? It looks like a worthy successor to the current Nexus 7.
The Nexus 7 story so far
Google’s Android and Chrome divisions head Sundar Pichai might reveal an updated Nexus 7 tablet at a Google event next week.
Here’s what the rumour mill has revealed so far:
Asus will most likely produce the next Nexus 7, with an expected storage size of 16GB or 32 GB. Speculation of an affordable 7-inch LCD panel to keep the price in the ballpark of the first Nexus 7 is highly likely.
Expect either a Wi-Fi only or 3G version of the tablets, while we cross our fingers for a 4G variant. Two cameras will be included for the new slate; a front 1.2-megapixel and rear 5-megapixel shooter.
