Huawei P7 Ascend Mini arrives in Europe
A non-Mini version of Huawei’s new Android smartphone is expected to follow next week

Huawei has launched a new smartphone, announcing the P7 Ascend Mini in Germany this week – and a full-size edition is expected to follow on 6th May.
With Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, a 960 x 540 4.5in screen, 1GB of RAM and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, the P7 Ascend Mini isn’t likely to bag armfuls of Phone of the Year awards, but it looks fairly attractive for a mid-range smartphone. It comes in black and white variants, with the former sporting silver brushed metal side panels and the latter gold.

There’s also a 8MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 8GB of expandable storage and a 2000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, there’s 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, b/g/n Wi-Fi and NFC.
There’s no release date or price confirmation from Huawei yet, but we’d expect the P7 Ascend Mini – and its larger, doubtless more powerful counterpart – to arrive in the UK in the next few weeks.
