Is this our first look at the LG G4?
Twitter account posts “leaked image” of the upcoming phone, along with dimensions
The next LG flagship phone looks to be a month or two away, but we may have just had our first look at it.
Twitter account @OnLeaks has posted what it claims is a “early (non-final)” official press image of the LG G4, along with the smartphone’s dimensions: 148.9 x 76.5 x 9.9mm.
The mention of “non-final” leads us to assume that the G4’s design could change in the coming weeks, but the image suggests that it’ll take more than a few cues from its predecessors the G2 and G3: a metal-look plastic exterior; dual-tone LED flash; and a power button on the back, just beneath the camera lens.
Ahead of the curve
More interestingly, the phone’s screen appears to be curved, much like LG’s G Flex and G Flex 2 models. The dimensions, if correct, also suggest that the screen will be larger than the 5.5in display on the G3 – which would push the G4 firmly into phablet territory.
The G4 is rumoured to be arriving in May, so we can expect plenty more leaks and rumours to emerge in the coming months. Stay tuned for more, and in the meantime check out our LG G4 preview.
