The BlackBerry PlayBook has officially landed

RIM’s first foray in to the UK tablet jungle begins now

If you’re seeking another type of fruit in an Apple-saturated tablet market then look no further than the BlackBerry PlayBook which is available from today at Birmingham’s Black store, and from tomorrow at Currys, PC World and Dixons. The 7in, dual core tablet has more than enough power to run RIM’s buttery smooth OS and full Flash support will quickly silence those passionate Apple fanboys.

Running in at £400, £480 and £560 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models respectively, only time will tell what impact the newest tablet on the block will make. If you’re tempted to go against the Apple and Android grain then we suggest checking out our review before prodding and swiping away at one of your very own.
