Canon's new snappers play nice with your iThing, YouTube and Facebook. What more could a budding socialite need to document their Friday night antics?
Canon has revealed its new Ixus 510 HS and 240 HS, with both snappers packing Wi-Fi and iDevice compatibility out of the box – meaning you can send your snaps over to your iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad, iPad 2 and fourth-gen iPod Touch for easy sharing.
Both the Ixus 510 HS (pictured above) and 240 HS feature 3.2in touchscreens and offer full HD video recording. They’ll also play nice with YouTube and Facebook, ticking all the right boxes for today’s social-centric gadgeteers.
The Ixus 510 HS has a 10.1MP CMOS sensor, 12x optical zoom and a price tag of £350 and will hit shelves in April. The Ixus 240 HS will come packing a 16.1MP sensor and 5x optical zoom and will set you back £280 on its release in March.
