Control your Xbox with your iPad

My Xbox Live app update adds iPad remote control so you can swipe your way around the Marketplace

Microsoft is playing nice with Apple, adding Xbox remote controle functions to the iPad version of its My Xbox Live app.

You can already use your iPhone as an Xbox 360 remote using the iOS app, while Windows Phone owners have been able to use the Xbox Companion app to control their consoles. Now iPad users can get in on the action too, letting you use a virtual D-pad to navigate your Xbox dashboard, play videos and start games.

So, now that you can use your iPad to control our Xbox, wouldn’t it be nice if Apple let you use an Xbox controller to play games on your iPad?
