Amazing Alien: Isolation DLC to reunite 1979 movie cast
Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt and more are back on board the Nostromo in “Crew Expendable”
Alien: Isolation is still a few months away from a release, but developer The Creative Assembly has just revealed its first piece of downloadable content – and it’s shaping up to be a real corker.
The DLC, which will be free from the day of release to anyone who pre-orders the game, is called Crew Expendable, and stars the majority of the cast of Ridley Scott’s 1979 film as the luckless crew of the Nostromo, the ship that first comes into contact with the killer xenomorph.

Nostrom-OMG
Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, Harry Dean Stanton, Yaphet Kotto and Veronica Cartwright are all back to play their original characters in a special mission that sits separate from Alien: Isolation‘s main campaign. You’ll be able to play as Ripley, Dallas or Parker, and according to The Creative Assembly you must “scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive”.
Time to pre-order the game, perhaps – as well as a couple of new pairs of underpants.
Alien: Isolation will be released on 7th October 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.
